The Native American Ministries office is a ministry of the Episcopal Church whose mission is:
- Defining role of Native people within ECUSA, underscoring self-determining and diverse traditional Native spirituality and values
- Providing cross-cultural communication for cultural understanding, remembrance, recognition and reconciliation
- Responding to poverty status of many Native communities and congregations; to anguish of disoriented youth and dysfunctional families often living in isolation and abandoned by the Church
- Enabling legislative advocacy on unique Indian Treaty Rights
- Building new models of indigenous theological training because existing models are proving ineffective
- Expanding vision by networking globally, linking with and learning from indigenous Anglicans of the Pacific Rim
