Sending Diocese: Western North Carolina

Austin attends St. James Episcopal Church, Black Mountain, NC. He is currently in the process for Holy Orders (Diocese of Western NC) and graduated in May '03 from Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas.  This 27 year-old mission companion is serving the Southeastern Mexico as their Communications Liaison.

Austin writes, “I spend most of my time making sure the diocesan office is open and functional.  This includes writing and responding to diocesan emails and phone calls as well as keeping up our relationships with companion dioceses in the US.  I also am coordinating visits from various churches and groups from the US who wish to do mission projects in the diocese.”
