Join members of the Madeleine Island Music Camp in a concert of Piano Trios and Quartets at 5pm. Works of Schubert, Schumann, Vaughn Williams and others will be presented. WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Washington National Cathedral's Summer Festival brings an array of vocal and instrumental music to Cathedral audiences. Joby Bell, Organist Assistant Professor Organ and Sacred Music Studies, Appalachian State University will perform works by Bobo, Gawthrop, Hampton, Langlais, Sibelius, Weaver, and Willan. Bell garnered the Audience Choice Award and Second Prize in the American Guild of Organists National Young Artists Competition, held in Seattle in 2000.
