Affirm the Church’s abhorrence of violence and racial profiling of Muslims and people of color done in the name of religion; monitor government policies on the imprisonment and restrictions of U.S. citizens or legal residents based on ethnicity. (GC 2003)
Reaffirm the Church’s historic commitment to eradicate racial injustice. (GC 2003)
Instruct the Treasurer to vote in favor of all resolutions asking companies to issue a Glass Ceiling report on efforts to remove impediments to the career advancement of women and people of color. (EC 03/02)
Condemn all acts motivated by hate. (GC 2000)
Urge Congress to include sexual orientation, gender and disability in the categories currently protected by federal hate crime laws and to expand the number of settings in which the law can be applied. (GC 2000)
