Eyes Wide Open, AFSC’s widely acclaimed exhibit of boots and shoes honoring the casualties of the Iraq war is returning to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. after a tour of more than 70 cities.
This year, the exhibit anchors a larger four-day event, Silence of the Dead – Voices of the Living: A Witness To End the War in Iraq, co-sponsored with organizations of veterans, military families, and others.
