Join hundreds of college students from across the country for the largest gathering of students committed to ending hunger, homelessness, and poverty in America and abroad. Throughout the weekend, you will learn from some of the top activists, organizers, and advocates in the country. More importantly, you will be able to network with students who are already organizing around these issues and others who have never volunteered but want to make a difference.
Conference highlights include:
- More than six panel discussions highlighting such topics as: International Hunger and Poverty; Youth Homelessness; Race, Class, and Gender; and Legislative Priorities.
- Choose from 60 workshops ranging from skills trainings to issue briefings to program development.
- Meet representatives from more than 30 groups at the Opportunities and Action Fair, where you can purchase valuable resources and learn about internship, career, and programming opportunities.
- Fun social events and networking opportunities.
- Plus, the amazing weather will offer a welcome break before the winter months arrive (this may not be a conference highlight but the school and weather is quite nice).
