On September 10th, Ambassadors from two dozen countries will join national faith leaders of every faith in a growing movement to head off a perceived clash of civilizations. In the face of world events, leaders acknowledge and set aside their differences to introduce a dialogue of civilizations on the 5th anniversary of 9/11. Never before seen, leaders of faiths plagued by tension will walk shoulder to shoulder to send a dramatic display of unity from Washington, DC to the world. The Walk is partnered with the Points of Light Foundation; last year thousands walked and over 100 co-sponsors participated.
