As Congress begins the important work of renewing the Farm Bill, the Episcopal Church is joining with other communities of faith to work for much-needed improvements in the legislation that will:
Provide better support for U.S. farmers;
Strengthen rural communities;
Ensure a nutritious diet for those in need;
Provide for better stewardship of the land;
Invest in clean and renewable energy development; and
Support the efforts of small-scale farmers in poor countries to feed their families and help lift their communities out of poverty.
