give you another Advocate to be with you forever. This is the Spirit of truth.

Jesus asked the disciples to turn their hearts to God, to keep his commandments and he would send to them the Holy Spirit.

Let us share another story from the Diocese of Jerusalem about a youth who in his reflection about his life in Jerusalem turns his heart to God.

St. George’s Cathedral

Jeries is 15 years old and loves to play the piano, especially at St. George’s School in Jerusalem, where he is a student. Jeries lives with his family in Ramallah, and at his young age faces check points, closures and bombings that has made him feel frightened and afraid.

Jeries writes, “I hope the suffering will stop soon and that peace will cover our land and fill the skies. I know that there will be many sacrifices paid to have lasting peace.” Jeries writes that he asks God to improve his life situation and to give a peace that “we always dream of.”
