Document Description: Within theology there is a discipline known as Practical Theology or Pastoral Studies, which addresses the question, "How are we as believers in Jesus Christ and his Church to live?" As a theological discipline of research and study, it is comprised of six dimensions: liturgies and homiletics, ethics, spirituality, pastoral care, catechetics, and ecumenics (missional dimensions of Christian life such as evangelism and stewardship, the relationships among various Christian groups, and the Church's relationship to the world and other religions).
