Within this century and civilization, the art of communication has shifted from simple word and gesture into a more complex science of word processing and computer technology. In this contemporary setting the Christian community still claims the language of liturgy as central to its existence. In the midst of our multicultural and pluralistic society, the Christian community still gathers to encounter and converse with God, self, and others through the universal language of liturgical worship.
