We are excited that this year’s Episcopal/Lutheran Campus Ministry Conference will be held in the heart of the loop, near Michigan Avenue. The Loyola University Water Tower Campus will provide us access to the city and all it has to offer. Some of our sessions will also be held at St. James Episcopal Cathedral located at 65 E. Huron St. Chicago, IL 60611. We will be housed at Baumhart Hall which is located on the corner of Wabash and E. Pearson. Campus maps can be found at www.luc.edu. It is only two blocks from the Red Line stop on State and Chicago. Registration will take place in the lobby

Travel Costs for ELCA Campus Ministry Agencies

Travel Equalization Fee $100.00
If you are an Eligible Campus Ministry Agency and your traveling expenses will be greater than $100.00, you need to include that $100 in your registration. Campus Ministry will cover the rest of the travel costs.
If you expect your travel expenses to be less than $100.00, then do not include it to your registration fees. Campus Ministry will not reimburse you for any travel costs.
If you are a Cooperating Congregation in Campus Ministry, the congregation covers all travel expenses; do not include the travel subsidy in your registration fees.
Making Airline Reservations for ELCA Campus Ministry Agencies:
All airline reservations must be made through Best Travel (1-800-543-8016). Please tell them purpose of the trip is Campus Ministry Conference, and give the following charge code:38-215
Registration: You will find various options for registration that include limited single rooms, doubles, and commuter. All participants are to fill out the registration form on-line. You may pay by credit card on-line or down load the form from the web and mail it to us with your check for full payment.
Please fill out the registration form on line by May 23rd. Note that there is a late fee of $50 after that date. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER JUNE 5. Help us to keep things speedier and simpler, if at all possible, use the credit card option or send in the entire payment with your registration.
Episcopal New Chaplains’ Pre-Conference (orientation): Designed for Episcopal chaplains’ who are about to begin their ministry on a university or college campus, or who have just completed their first year and want some tips on how to hone their skills. The Revd Amy McCreath, (MIT) and the Revd Dr Steve White (formerly at Princeton) will lead a series of workshops and discussions on areas of ministry on such topics as how to engage the institution, evangelism, advertising, programming, worship, finance, and board and governance.
This pre-conference is open only to those who have not previously attended. It is funded through the Office for Young Adult & Campus Ministries. Overnight accommodation will be provided plus dinner on June 23 and breakfast on June 24. For shedule, please see below.
