Pathways to Ministry
Dallas, TX

,

Pathways to Ministry, established in 1999, offers a 10-month internship designed for young adults, recently graduated from college, who are seriously considering seminary and ordained ministry.  Through immersion in all aspects of parish ministry over the course of the ten-month period, interns engage in intentional discernment for ordained ministry at one of the most distinguished Episcopal churches in the nation.  Saint Michael and All Angels, located in Dallas, Texas, is a parish of five-thousand communicants that enjoys a wide breadth of ministries that include multiple weekday and weekend liturgies, extensive Christian education programs, vibrant mission and outreach ministries to the City of Dallas and the world, and a broad system of lay and ordained pastoral care. Saint Michael is a moderate parish deeply committed to the unity of the Church and expansive in its willingness to effect new directions in proclaiming the Gospel. Pathways to Ministry is committed to emphasizing the intrinsic value of young vocations and raising up sufficient numbers of young priests with the pastoral capabilities to function effectively in increasingly complex parish settings. Priority is given to applications received by March 1st.  The final deadline is April 15th
