The Johnson Intern Program, Inc.(501-C-3) is a 10-month opportunity for post-baccalaureate young adults to serve in an intensive experience of social justice, leadership training, communal living, and spiritual development. Part-time AmeriCorps volunteer opportunities are available within the program.
The Johnson Intern Office is housed in the Chapel of the Cross parish and located in close proximity to the University of North Carolina campus. The Johnson Intern Program supports the development of community and church leaders capable of understanding the complexities of social and institutional reform. The program provides an opportunity for these young adult leaders to experience the inner and outward journey of the Christian tradition.
Applications are currently being accepted and will be reviewed after March 15. Applicants for the 2008-2009 service year should have materials in by March 1.
