Resources for Theological Education
The Office for Ministry Development (OMD) is only beginning to create a list of resources for Theological Education.  At present this site primarily provides links to other related sites.  Please let us know about additional links we might add to our list.

LIFE LONG LEARNING OPPORTUNIES
Visit the web site, Faith and Wisdom, a comprehensive searchable database of continuing education programs sponsored by the Episcopal Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church and the United Methodist Church. The workshops, courses and other programs identified there are applicable to all ministers, i.e., the laity, bishops, priests and deacons.

LINKS TO PARISH AND CATHEDRAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS
The parish is the primary place Episcopalians have access to theological education, through preaching, church school, adult education, forums, seminars, conferences and parish libraries.  We hope to develop a list of parishes and cathedrals around the country that have established noteworthy educational programs open to the public.  Our list at present is certainly only a partial one.

The College of Preachers, Washington, D.C.
All Saints Church, Pasadena, CA
Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, CA
Washington National Cathedral, Washington, D.C.
(see "Events")
Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York City
(see "Lectures, Tours, Workshops")
The Congregation of St. Saviour at The Cathedral
(see "Education")
St. Bartholomew's Church, New York City
(see "Program & Ministries")
Calvary Church, Memphis, TN
(see "Christian Education")

LINKS TO DIOCESAN AND OTHER LOCAL TRAINING PROGRAMS
Many diocesan schools for ministry in the Episcopal Church are open to lay and ordained alike.  A number of the local schools focus on a particular student population, e.g. indigenous peoples. We will be posting a list of local schools on this site in the future. See The Episcopal Church Annual (The Red Book), by Morehouse Publishing on-line. There is a list of diocesan schools in the (printed) Annual.
