Document Description: Invite participants to imagine that they have never heard this passage before and they know nothing about the Bible or Christianity. Ask them to take a few minutes to write down all the questions that come to mind. In particular, ask them to identify what strikes them as crazy or odd; what doesn't make sense or what doesn't seem to fit.
