Many groups of the Episcopal Church known as Committees, Commissions, Agencies and Boards (CCAB's) undertake the work of the General Convention on an ongoing basis, adapting their work to specific requirements for the subsequent convention. All have specific work to do and this work is reported to the bishops and deputies who will attend convention having been provided with a substantial document called the "Reports to the 74th General Convention".
The work and membership of the Commissions is described in Canon I, Title I, Section 2. In addition there are various Committees that report to the Executive Council that will be formed as a result of the Actions of the General Convention and by resolution of the Executive Council.
