Middle East

"…Not tomorrow, but today." - UNICEF's The Berlin Conference and its Commitment for the Children of Europe and Central Asia.

While he was attending the Special Session, Treasure Bear heard the children there proclaim, “we are not the sources of the world’s problems; we are the resources to solve them.”

Treasure Bear understands that adults need help to solve our world’s problems. But he worries and wonders:

Dear Children,

Help Treasure Bear understand how children can be resources, how they can help to solve our world’s problems. Write a letter to Treasure Bear telling him how you can be a resource in your community. Can you be a resource at home? At church? At school?

To help you along, here some examples of how children are resources for problem solving in the Middle East.
