Many prominent ecumenical and interfaith guests attended the investiture of the Presiding Bishop, who is Ecumenical Officer for the Episcopal Church. Top: Dr. Tom Ferguson, Associate Deputy for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, stands between the Most Rev. Joris A. O. L. Vercammen, Archbishop of Utrecht, and the Rev. Randall Lee, Director of Ecumenical and Interreligious Relations for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The Episcopal Church has been in full communion with the Old Catholic Churches of Utrecht since 1934 and the ELCA since 2001.
