Bulletin inserts report on Episcopal/Anglican recommitment to MDGs

September 29, 2008 [Episcopal Life Weekly] Episcopal Life Weekly bulletin inserts for October 5 will feature a report on the Episcopal/Anglican response to the United Nations "high-level event" in support of the Millennium Development Goals. Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori and Archbishop of York John Sentamu led a service of recommitment at St. John the Divine Cathedral in New York on September 25 as U.N. leaders met to assess progress towards the 2015 target date for fulfillment of the eight MDGs.
