Community of the Transfiguration
Based in Cincinnati, this order is enriched and shaped by their dedication to the mystery of the Transfiguration and strive to be open both to God's revelation of His Son, and to human need. Their Rule, written by the early Sisters, and revised in the1970's, is uniquely their own, although clearly influenced by the traditions and practices of Western monasticism. These women are called, and committed, to a community life of both prayer and service, as reflected in the lives of Mary and Martha of Bethany.
