[Episcopal News Service] At the 222nd diocesan convention November 3, the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts voted to send "letters of condolences" to Ohio Bishop Mark Hollingsworth and Colorado Bishop Robert O'Neill on the loss to the Boston Red Sox of the American League pennant and World Series respectively. Hollingsworth and O'Neill formerly served in the Diocese of Massachusetts. Suffragan Bishops Gayle E. Harris (pink cap) and Bud Cederholm (holding Sox sign) participated in a Red Sox rally outside the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Boston on October 30, the day after the Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies to win the World Series. The Boston-based team defeated the Cleveland, Ohio, Indians October 21 to win the American League race.
