CANADA: Primate delivers video message on Church unity

[Episcopal News Service] Archbishop Fred Hiltz, primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, says that although he is saddened by the decision made by a small number of parishes to leave, the Canadian Church as a whole "remains vibrant and united in its witness to the Gospel message."

Hiltz's message comes in a video stream, available for viewing here.

Despite reports that emphasize division, Hiltz says "the reality is that thousands of Anglicans continue to worship together every week, even though they disagree over issues such as sexuality."

Hiltz speaks about the state of the Canadian church and asks Anglicans to pray for unity.
