Diocese of Atlanta
The Diocese of Atlanta includes 93 congregations in North and Middle Georgia, with a total of some 56,000 members. The diocese was created in 1907 by the division of the Diocese of Georgia, which until that time included the entire state. The seat of the bishop of Atlanta is the Cathedral of St. Philip.  The Diocese of Atlanta is the ninth largest of 100 dioceses. The bishop of Atlanta is the Rt. Rev. J. Neil Alexander.
