To engage and encourage the people of the diocese in the wider mission of the church, the commission provides educational materials and affirms and makes known mission opportunities. Commission members lift up, correspond with, pray for, and financially assist persons from the diocese serving in overseas mission. The commission also receives mission grant requests and recommends distribution of diocesan world mission funds.
