Leadership and organization development, team development, managing conflict, facilitation. Coaching, consulting and companioning practices that get to the heart of what it means to lead, as well as to follow!
Expertise: Compassionate guide helping corporate leaders and professional change agents produce better results and relationships by companioning them as they change the way they relate to their world.
Experience: For the last twenty years, I have provided coaching, organizational development and management consulting for small and mid-sized businesses as well as corporate organizations with compassion and grace. When consulting leaders in difficult settings and trying times, I am often called on to “find out what’s happening.” With just a little mutual exploration, we often discover that the leadership characteristic missing is compassion. Though some leaders and business owners are tempted to downplay the importance of compassion, I’ve learned that this complex response plays an essential role in supporting system-wide change. Many of the leaders who call on me will report that they previously had a simplistic understanding of compassion as “soft and mushy.” My approaches to organizational redevelopment via coaching and consulting involve rigorous practices of compassion — a durable commitment to honoring the individual as well as corporate ideals and strengths.

Reverend Brackett has developed a calendar of regional educational forums across the Episcopal Church and noted, "Funding for Mission Enterprise Zones is but one part of a two-way partnership. Ministry leaders are invited to join this emerging church-wide learning community as well as partner with these matching funds. To start with, leaders from across the church will offer best practices and fresh learnings in the following areas: developing a ministry plan; casting a compelling vision for ministry; gathering the core team; recruiting allies in the local dioceses; completing the online application; and crafting a plan to invite and welcome the surrounding community." The schedule for that training series can be found below.
