Quiet Day

A quiet day of prayer and reflection examining how the faithful are

being inspired to claim the call to lead lives of witness. Reflecting on the writings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela, and Thomas Merton, participants will examine how these contemporary prophets have re-framed God’s call to us. Reading selective passages, engaging in guided meditation and personal, reflective journaling, the day will allow those in attendance to consider each one’s journey toward a deeper ownership of how to choose and live a life of presence and testimony.
