Historic Christ Church Episcopal, the oldest church in Old Town Alexandria, anchoring Washington St., will celebrate its 240th anniversary on Sunday, February 10, 2013. This activity-packed Sunday will feature specially commissioned music, a guest preacher, a reception, a display of historic artifacts, and a special appearance from George and Martha Washington.

The guest preacher will be the Reverend Gay Jennings, President of the House of Deputies of the Episcopal Church, who will preach at the combined 10:00 a.m. service in the church. Please join us as we celebrate our church history.
