Forgiveness: What It Is and What It Isn’t

Friday, August 02, 2013 to Sunday, August 04, 2013

(Friday dinner – Sunday lunch)

Silent Retreat

“It is my most requested topic, I think, because everyone has had some experience giving it, needing it or both, and religious teaching about it is wrong headed and not useful.” This will be a silent retreat, offering meditations lasting about 45 minutes each, and followed by an opportunity for limited discussion in the plenary. In between, there will be time to think your own thoughts or talk to Barbara.

Barbara Cawthorn Crafton is an Episcopal priest and writer. She heads the Geranium Farm, an online institute for encouragement of the devotional life. The Farm publishes her widely read Almost Daily eMos, enjoyed by thousands of readers worldwide. The author of many books, she is interim rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Metuchen, NJ.
