A workshop presented by men, for men to discuss the problem of violence against women and the role of men as perpetrators and preventers.
Registration required*, participation limited to 24. Preference will be given to adult males and teen males with responsible adult male.

Our discussion will follow V-Day’s presentation on violence statistics and the impact of our socialization of boys and men. We’ll talk about victims, perpetrators and possible solutions. We will talk frankly and graphically about the emotional, physical and sexual abuse of women. Presenter Gary Gocek is a well-meaning man taking a step toward violence prevention. This program is affiliated with VDAY, a global movement to end violence against women and girls.
