9:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Led Anne A. Simpkinson
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits for Him, in His word is my hope.
Take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle, and stop, center, pray and explore the Advent themes of waiting and long. This day is aimed at creating a space in which to connect with the true meaning of the season. We will work with relevant psalms, journal and "retreat" into silence through periods of Centering Prayer.
Bring a bag lunch if you wish to participate in a silent meal.
No prior experience with Centering Prayer necessary.
