New Community Clergy and Lay Conference

Mercredi, Mars 12, 2014 - Samedi, Mars 15, 2014
Emplacement:
Kanuga Conference Center, North Carolina

The New Community Clergy and Lay Conference will provide opportunities for clergy and lay people to explore mission in ethnic ministries.

This gathering of Asian, Black, Latino/Hispanic and Native American clergy and lay leaders will provide a safe place to share hopes and dreams, needs and concerns, gifts and ministries, suffering and joy in the context of being the New Community.

The theme for the event is "Together, Advancing the Sacred Dream." Plenary and workshop topics will provide opportunities for clergy and lay people to explore advocacy and mission in ethnic ministries. The 2014 gathering will continue the work of the first New Community Gathering in 2012: "Reclaiming our Mission; Reinterpreting Our Contexts and Renewing Our Communities."

Also included will be ethnic-specific meetings, inter-ethnic and cross cultural conversations, and multicultural banquet and worship celebrations.
