A workshop presented by men, for men to discuss the problem of violence against women and the role of men as perpetrators and preventers.
Registration required*, participation limited to 24. Preference will be given to adult males and teen males with responsible adult male.

Our discussion will follow V-Dayâ€™s presentation on violence statistics and the impact of our socialization of boys and men. Weâ€™ll talk about victims, perpetrators and possible solutions. We will talk frankly and graphically about the emotional, physical and sexual abuse of women. Presenter Gary Gocek is a well-meaning man taking a step toward violence prevention. This program is affiliated with VDAY, a global movement to end violence against women and girls.
