Patricia E. Holley of New York has been named Senior Human Resources Officer at the Episcopal Church Center. The announcement was made by John ColÃ³n, Director of Human Resources.
In this new position, Holley will serve as the strategic planner and supervisor for various human resources practices including performance management, training and development, and employee relations and work-life issues. Additionally, she will work with the other human resources staff to assure the timely and effective delivery of programs and will advise employees, managers and supervisors on personnel policies and procedures.
Holley began her position on July 11.
Most recently Holley worked for Abyssinian Development Corporation as Vice President of Human Resources (2004-2011) and Director of Human Resources (2002-2004). Before that she was employed by the General Board of Global Ministries for the United Methodist Church from 1984 to 2001 as Manager of Benefits and Staff Development, Manager of Human Resources, and Administrator of compensation, benefits and regulatory compliance. She is a graduate of Baruch College in NY with a bachelorâs degree in marketing and advertising and has successfully completed advance studies in training and benefits from the American Management Association. Among her memberships are the American Society for Training and Development and the Society for Human Resource Management.
