Florence Nightingale is finally commemorated. So are Enmegahbowh and Philip the Deacon. The House of Deputies concurred with the House of Bishops Sunday to name them to Lesser Feasts and Fasts, along with authorizing trial commemorations of Janani Luwum, William Temple, Clive Staples Lewis, Philander Chase, and Florence Li Tim-Oi. Deputies also concurred with resolutions referring the Rev. Dr. John Roberts and Tikhon to the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music for calendar consideration and approving continuing use of Enriching Our Worship volumes 1 and 2.
Convention Daily is published online each morning. The published, hard copy edition is distributed each morning to the Hyatt, Marriott, Westin and Holiday Inn hotels. Notices for the daily Calendar must be delivered to the volunteer receptionist at Convention Daily office, by 2pm of the day preceding publication.
