To see the changes at Holy Trinity Cathedral since the 2010 earthquake, try this interactive site from the New York Times.
From the right hand tool bar, click on Palace Tent Camps. On the left hand side of your screen, click the “before” box.
Now use your mouse to pull the photo down until you have “traveled” north one block. In the second block north of the tent camp, notice the large red, cross-shaped roof toward the left of your screen. This is Holy Trinity Cathedral in 2009.
Click the “after” box to see the complete destruction caused by the earthquake.
Click the “now” box to see the amount of clearing already accomplished and the tin roofs of the temporary shelters for worship and classes. The government of Haiti has said it will deed the entire city block on which Holy Trinity Cathedral once stood to the Episcopal Church.
