Our mission is to foster bonds among parishioners and newcomers, principally in our 20s and 30s, by providing opportunities for fellowship, service, and spiritual formation that enable us to grow closer to Christ and each other.
CrossTies members gather on the first Thursday of each month from 7-9pm. We start with a short service of evening prayer in the Chapel, followed by dinner and discussion in the dining room. Please join us in the Chapel on the first Thursday of each month.
Fellowship activities include barbecues, an annual Christmas party, group hikes, retreats and beer and wine tastings. Our service activities include sponsoring a family for Christmas and running the bake shop department for the annual Attic Basement Closet (ABC) Sale. Spiritual formation is a lifelong journey and especially important for our age group, as we cope with changes in our relationships, families, careers and identities. Examples of our spiritual formation activities include discussions of interesting films and books, guest speakers, a retreat in the fall, and other opportunities for faith sharing and exploration. We also have a bible study for mothers of young children, which meets in the church nursery at 10:30 on Wednesday mornings.
