Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Debuts Second Book June 23

Gospel in the Global Village: Seeking God's Dream of Shalom

June 08, 2009 The second book penned by the Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, Gospel in the Global Village: Seeking God's Dream of Shalom, will be debuted at a book signing on June 23 at Episcopal Books & Resources’ retail store, Catalyst Café and Books.

The public is invited to attend the June 23 event. The Presiding Bishop will greet visitors and sign books from 4 pm to 5:30 pm Eastern time. Refreshments will be served.

During the event, Gospel in the Global Village will be available for 20% off the retail price.

Catalyst is located in the Episcopal Church Center, 815 Second Ave., NYC (at 43rd St.), and is accessible from Second Ave.

Her first book, A Wing and a Prayer: A Message of Faith and Hope, was published in 2007 by Morehouse Publishing.
