ERD awarded The Diocese of Nevada an emergency grant of $25,000 after an economic slowdown in tourism following the events of September 11. Funds will help individuals whose jobs were lost since September 11. Two parishes and one organization received funds to help provide assistance to those affected. The bishop will also establish a Diocese Outreach Commission to coordinate outreach efforts in the diocese.
