"Strength through Unity -- L'Union fait la Force: A Service of Prayer for Haiti" will be a service of prayer for the victims, families, and survivors of the January 12 earthquake in Haiti with the offering going to relief efforts.
The service will feature prayers from interfaith representatives and a Haitian folksong sung by countertenor Jean-Luc Princivil.
Participants include Presiding Bishop Jefferts Schori; Bishop Chane; Auxiliary Bishop of Washington Barry C. Knestout, representing the Most Rev. Donald W. Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington; Dean Lloyd; and His Excellency Raymond Joseph, Haitian ambassador to the U.S.
