On the Saturday before Holy Week, the people of the Church of the Redeemer, Kenmore, Washington, prepare the church grounds and themselves for the upcoming week. The name "Lazarus Saturday" is borrowed from the Orthodox name for the day before Holy Week.
On November 16, 1913, Grace Cathedral welcomed its first boy choristers. With that, the Choir of Men and Boys was born. In 2013, we will celebrate the hundredth anniversary of our resident choir with a Year of Music, highlighted by a tour by the choir. For more information, visit http://www.gracecathedral.org/tour.
