The Office of Mission Funding presented its second annual symposium on the Spirituality of Philanthropy, September 29-30, 2011, which featured nationally recognized theologians and fundraising experts. Speakers offered presentations on the scriptural warrants for generosity and charity in both the Hebrew Bible and the gospels, as well as practical “boots on the ground” information about fundraising planning and implementation.
