Flood Relief Goes to Diocese of Southwestern Virginia

Episcopal Relief and Development gave a $25,000 emergency grant to the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia to provide relief for neighboring areas that were affected by the recent floods in July and August. These funds will purchase building supplies and other materials to help repair and rebuild homes.

We provide critical supplies to people through local dioceses after natural and human-made disasters. We partner with the dioceses to get life-saving aid to children and their families and stay with communities after the crisis to provide ongoing support.
