What is the purpose of this Network’s ministry?
Provide improved ministry to Episcopalians who are at military bases where there is no assigned Episcopal chaplain, and to generally improve ministry to armed forces members and their families.

Network chair and a military liaison officer (MLO) in each diocese
What are some of the highlights of the past few months?
Organization concept approved by the Province VII Council and chair appointed by the President; Network publicized by The Hub and on the Web site.
What are some of the goals for the next few months?
1. Have the initial target dioceses (OK, TX, WTX) appoint their MLOs and have these functioning.
2. Develop the implementation plan to have MLOs in all dioceses
3. Disseminate the “Congregations and Combat Stress” PowerPoint and related resources to dioceses and their parishes
Are there ways the province can help you with these goals? The initial funding provided was probably all we need at this point in time.
