Young Adult Service Corps (YASC)
The BLESS Appeal supports the people and programs that boldly proclaim the loving, liberating, and life-giving message of Jesus Christ through the Young Adult Service Corp.
Gifts to the BLESS Appeal ensures that Young Adult Service Corp (YASC) has the resources to play a key role in carrying out the mission of The Episcopal Church by bringing the experiences and values of our faith into the lives, parishes, and communities throughout the Anglican Communion. The Young Adult Service Corps is a ministry for Episcopalians ages 21-30 who are interested in exploring their faith in new ways by living and serving in communities around the world.
Loving – We are called to share Christ’s love and we are called to be in relationship.
Liberating – Serving abroad as a Young Adult Service Corps missionary is more than just a job, it’s a journey of discovery of self, faith and of the Anglican Communion.
Life-Giving – “Each of you should use whatever gifts you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” No matter where we are in the world, from rural Philippines to downtown London, YASC is about serving others.
