He completed his theological education at Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Masters in Pastoral Ministry in a Hybrid-Distance Program. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Science and is currently an Associate Professor in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine.
