SUMMARY:Episcopal Latino Ministry Competency Course
DESCRIPTION:Diocesan staff\, clergy\, lay leaders\, and seminarians seeking tools for effective Latino ministry are invited to the Episcopal Latino Ministry Competency Course. The next in-person session of this course will be held Aug. 10–15 at the University of the South in Sewanee\, Tennessee. Registration is now closed. \n\n\n\nOffered by The Episcopal Church’s Office of Latino Ministries\, this course provides practical tools and background for Latino ministry. Through classroom presentations and workshops\, participants explore the history and demographics of Latinos in the United States\, different models of Latino ministry\, liturgical celebrations and resources\, immigration issues\, and more.
