SUMMARY:Planter discernment workshop: Nov. 30-Dec. 2
DESCRIPTION: Nov. 30-Dec. 2 Atlanta\, Georgia Is God calling you and your diocese to start a new Episcopal faith community? These immersive workshops—for church planters accompanied by a diocesan staff member involved in church planting—offer space to explore that question with curiosity\, honesty\, and practical reflection. Participants will examine their sense of call\, ministry experiences\, leadership style\, relational connections\, and the capacities involved in starting something new. Guided exercises invite participants to consider the people and contexts they may be called to serve\, explore possible forms of new faith community\, and identify strengths\, growth areas\, and questions for further discernment.   The goal is not to persuade everyone to plant a church\, but to help each person gain clarity and name a faithful next step. Sign up to be notified when registration opens for these in-person sessions.   \n\n\n\n\n\nFor questions and additional information\, contact the Rev. Jason Shank\, director for congregational vitality\, at jshank@episcopalchurch.org.
