Ethiopian liturgical umbrellas appear as if in procession in the General Convention Chapel. Brought from Ethiopia by the Rev. Canon Daniel Ade, chapel planner and vice dean and vicar of St. John's Cathedral, Los Angeles, the umbrellas are traditionally carried in procession to cover the presiding bishop, bishop or sacraments.
