In Uganda, Retired Bishop Stands with the Marginalized

[03/11/11] Bishop Christopher Senyonjo was ousted by the Anglican Church in Uganda for his ministry serving the marginalized and oppressed, including the gay community, in a society where corruption and intimidation are commonplace. Despite the recent murder of David Kato, a Ugandan gay rights activist, the bishop is undeterred and continues to run a center for equality and reconciliation that ministers to those in need, regardless of their gender, social background or sexuality.
